Colvin 812 3rd Street SE Pipestone, Minnesota 56164 507-825-2355 Traditional Siamese, Balinese, Snowshoes Pet Quality Contract We are intensely interested in the welfare of every kitten produced therefore, this contract details what is required for all kitten purchases. You are encouraged to call whenever there is a question or concern about your new kitten. Buyer and Seller agree to the following terms and conditions: The term cat refers to and means the kitten. The Seller guarantees the cat to be feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus negative. Seller provides a 72 hour limited warranty against the cat having upper respiratory infections. The cat is guaranteed for 30 days against having fleas, earmites, and worms. Also there is a 2 year guarantee against any genetic diseases. Seller strongly urges buyer to have their own veterinarian examine the cat within 48 hours of purchase to confirm it good health. If your veterinarian finds the cat to be a poor health risk you may return the cat to seller within 14 days of purchase for an exchange when another kitten of the same quality becomes available. If the cat if found to have any upper respiratory infections within 72 the Buyer must notify the Seller. Seller will pay for the first veterinary visit and one follow up visit (not at an emergency clinic) upon the Buyer forwarding a copy of the receipt of each veterinary visit Buyer shall be responsible for any shipping costs. If the cat if found to have any genetic disorder which cause the death of the cat or the Buyer chooses to have the cat euthanized a necropsy must be preformed at the Buyer's expense, and copy of the report must be forwarded to the Seller and Seller's veterinarian stating the illness or need for euthanasia. Seller shall not be held liable for any veterinary or health care costs, except as provided by the above limited warranty, occurring while in the buyers possession. Seller will forward the registration forms, and buyer may register the cat at their own cost, with the ACA (American Cat Association),TCA ( Traditional Cat Association), TICA ( The International Cat Association) or the CFA ( Cat Fanciers Association), depending on the cat chosen. The cat is to be kept indoors at all time except when going to the veterinarian. The cat must be properly confined to a kennel or on a leash. If at any time the Buyer becomes unwilling or unable to care for their new cat, The Seller must be notified and the Seller holds the first right of refusal. If the Buyer finds the cat a home, the new owner must sign this contract. The cat at no time shall be transferred to a pet store, research facility, animal dealer (anyone who sells animals), breeder, or animal shelter. Buyer assumes the cost of shipment. The total purchase price of the cat, shots, carrier, health certificate, and flight must be received prior to shipment. If the order for the purchase of cat is cancelled while the cat is in flight, the buyer is responsible for the return airfare and $50.00 fee for the sellers time. If the cat is hand delivered, the driver must be given cash for the shipment of the cat prior to transfer to the new owner. All money is non-refundable. Only replacement kittens of the same quality will be offered. This contract is the sole and entire agreement between the parties regarding the cat purchased. Any changes to this contract must appear on these pages, and be initialed by both the Buyer and the Seller.
